Seeing my first total solar eclipse in person was an amazing experience, and what stood out to me most was seeing what looked like sunset or dusk in 360 degrees. When I planned seeing the 2024 total solar eclipse I wanted to capture the experience of that 360 degree dusk, so I packed my drone and several 360 cameras to capture this incredible event.
Enjoy this experience virtually with a drone view of the eclipse from southern Illinois. Watch as the sky fades from daylight to dusk. Interactive elements include a 360 time-lapse video from the ground.
